We are always happy to answer any questions. I have had the privilege of being a part of the Powdersville Middle School family for the past 26 years, serving as principal, assistant principal, eighth-grade science teacher, and coach. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Clemson University and my Master's Degree from Furman University. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, reading, going to sporting events and playing golf.
Powdersville Middle School is committed to continuing the ASD1 tradition of excellence by providing world-class knowledge, skills and life characteristics based on the individual needs of each student. I am proud to be a Patriot, and I know that by working together, we can continue to make Powdersville Middle - a school where B.E.S.T. is the standard!

Mr. Kevin Williams, Assistant Principal
This is my 21st year in public education. Previously, I taught Social Studies for 6 years at Powdersville Middle School. I am blessed to have the privilege of working on the administration team at PVMS. I received my undergraduate degree from Clemson University and my master's degree in educational leadership from Arkansas State University.
My wife, Ashley, and I have been married for 19 years. She is also an educator and teaches at Powdersville Elementary. We have a daughter, Ellison (10), and a son, Asa (8). We love to travel and hang out with our family. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Go Patriots!

Dr. Kathi Cord, Assistant Principal
It is my honor to serve you this year at Powdersville Middle School. This is the start of my 35th year in education. I previously taught all grades and subjects at the middle school level, in three different states, and served as an Assistant Principal in high school. You may recognize my face, as I taught for seven years at Powdersville Middle, several years ago! It is my pleasure to return and serve once more in this amazing school.I am happily married to my husband and we have three children, all of whom were fortunate enough to be taught at Powdersville Middle. Two of them have graduated from Powdersville High School and have gone on to attend Arizona State University. The youngest is attending Louisiana State University this year.
I look forward to assisting students, teachers, and parents alike. It is going to be a fantastic year for our students as we have instituted many layers of support to ensure success for ALL students. Please don't hesitate to reach out if I can help in any way.
