RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION

Anderson School District One’s  Returning Student Registration updates for the 2023-2024 school year are available in your Parent Portal. You will need to use the full website to access the registration updates.

Once logged in, the link is located in the lower left navigation and is called
Returning Student Registration 23-24.

It is very important for you to complete these updates:

  • Be sure your child's name is spelled correctly. This must be your child's legal name as it appears on their birth certificate.

  • ​Confirm the date of birth is correct.

  • Check home and mailing addresses.

  • Update your contact information.

    • Please pay close attention to this and add/remove anyone necessary. 

    • If the same phone number is listed multiple times, please remove the extra entries.

  • Update your child's medical information.

If you are unable to log in to your Parent Portal account, please complete the Parent Portal Support Form or use the Forgot Username or Password link on the sign in screen. We will respond as quickly as possible with your username and a new password.

PARENT PORTAL

Anderson School District One believes that sharing information with parents strengthens our partnership and improves each student's learning experience.  Parents can access real time education information via our Parent Portal.

The Parent Portal is a powerful, easy-to-use, secure communication tool connecting teachers, parents and students. Using Pearson’s PowerSchool student information system, the Parent Portal allows collaboration to improve student achievement. Up-to-date, online access to grades, homework, and attendance makes it easier for parents, teachers and students to accurately monitor, identify and accelerate student progress. 

Parent access to Parent Portal will be by unique login ID and password.  For families with more than one child in the district, a separate Access ID and Access Password will be used to setup your account.  Parent/Guardians must complete the Acceptable Use Policy before they can receive their login information from the child's school.  Please be prepared to show a photo ID for security and confidentiality purposes. 

PowerSchool App for Parents

Parents in Anderson School District One now have portable access to PowerSchool right from their Android-based devices, iPhone, iPad Touch or iPad.

How to Get the App:

If you already have a Parent Portal account, skip to step 5.

  1.  Complete the Parent Portal Acceptable Use Policy and return it to the school office.

  2. The office personnel will request to make a copy of your driver's license. This information is used in the event you forget your Parent Portal password and need to have it reset.

  3. You will be given a letter that has an Access ID and Access Password that you will use to create your Parent Portal account.

  4. Login to Parent Portal to create your account.

  5. Login to the Parent Portal using the username and password you created in step 4 above. You will see the Anderson School District One four character code for the PowerSchool Student and Parent App on the left side of the screen. You will also see a link to download the app.
