Educational Office Employee of the Year
The Anderson Association of Educational Office Professionals will recognize one of its members as “Educational Office Professional of the Year.” The criteria are as follows:
Eligibility
Nominee must be a current employee of the educational system for Anderson County and a member of AAEOP.
Nominator must be a current employee of the educational system for Anderson County and a member of AAEOP.
Nominations will be for outstanding performance as an employee of the educational system for Anderson County AND a member of AAEOP including:
cooperation with other departments/schools
dedication to completion of job tasks and accepts special assignments beyond normal job duties
effectiveness in performance making him/her excel over other employees, therefore bringing recognition from fellow workers}
The nominee must have held membership in AAEOP for at least two years.
The nominee must have been an educational office Professional for a minimum of five years.
Guidelines for Nomination
One candidate may be nominated by each AAEOP member in good standing.
Nomination form must be sent to the committee chair.
Application will be sent to each nominee by committee chair.
Application must be completed by nominee and returned to committee chair.
All materials must be postmarked by March 15.
Decision of Judges
Recommendation of nominator
Professional activity (association activities, leadership, and participation)
Educational background/continuing education (including staff development participation)
Community service (in addition to education community)
Personal rating by supervisor(s)
Letter of recommendation from immediate supervisor(s) and two other persons of the nominee’s choosing (only three letters will be submitted to judges).
Winner
The winner will be announced at the Installation and Awards Banquet in the spring.
The winner will be presented a plaque from the association.
