Anderson School District One administrators recognized by the South Carolina Athletic Administrators Association

Williamston, S.C. - Anderson School District One is proud to announce Superintendent Robbie Binnicker and Powdersville High School Principal Dr. Adam Lanford have been recognized by the South Carolina Athletic Administrators Association for their commitment and contributions to education-based interscholastic athletics. 

The association named Superintendent Robbie Binnicker as the 2023-2024 Superintendent of the Year for 3A/2A/1A schools and Dr. Adam Lanford received 3A Principal of the Year. 

“I am very pleased to be named the Superintendent of the Year for 1A-3A athletics. We have a wonderful group of dedicated, hard-working athletes and coaches and to be recognized by this group is an honor,” said Superintendent Robbie Binnicker. 

According to the association, the administrators receiving these honors will be recognized for “creating a distinctive school and/or district climate and culture for athletics through their leadership, engagement and interaction having a positive influence on interscholastic athletics. And, for demonstrating a willingness to go ‘Above and Beyond’ for athletics.”

“I am proud to receive this honor on behalf of the Powdersville High School Athletic Department,” said Dr. Adam Lanford. “It represents the dedication and accomplishment of our coaches and athletes. We will continue to emphasize the role that athletics can play in the development of a confident, successful and well-rounded student.”

Both administrators will be recognized during a conference in March.
