Williamston, S.C. - Anderson School District One is proud to announce Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Becky Brady has received the 2024 South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) Lifetime Achievement Award.
SCASA, an organization for South Carolina leaders in public education, recognizes several school administrators with this award each year for their commitment to education.
“I have had a very blessed career in public education for 40 years,” said Brady. “I have worked with so many people who have poured into me to grow me as a teacher, assistant principal, principal and district leader. I share this SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award with so many. It is a family in Anderson One and I have been incredibly blessed to be part of that amazing family. I also want to thank my wonderful family for all of their love and support. My husband, Ray and daughter, Kate and all of my family have been amazing in their love and support. I am truly blessed.”
Brady has dedicated her 40-year career in education to positively impacting students and families in Anderson School District One. She started her career as an elementary school teacher after graduating from Furman University in 1984. In her current role as Assistant Superintendent of Personnel, Brady manages all personnel-related issues for thousands of students and employees in the district. She has a passion for helping students succeed, exhibits strong problem solving skills, and has continued to demonstrate an admirable commitment to hiring and retaining outstanding educators.
“Mrs. Brady is deserving of SCASA's Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding service to our District and our State,” said Superintendent Robbie Binnicker. “She is a consummate professional in every aspect of the personnel arena. I have tremendous respect and admiration for her ability to recruit and retain excellent teachers in Anderson One.
