Williamston, S.C. - On June 15, 2024, 27 Palmetto High School AFJROTC cadets successfully completed the Southeast Region Cadet Leadership Course (CLC) at the University of West Georgia, in Carrollton, Georgia.
According to Lt. Col. Mike Creamer, this year’s CLC was comprised of 118 cadets, representing 11 high schools from Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. The cadets participated in rigorous training in five categories: academics, physical training, regulation drill, personal inspections, and room inspections.

CADRE: These cadets have previously completed the CLC Basic Course. Based upon their performance during the Basic Course, they were chosen by a Cadre Selection Board, consisting of AFJROTC Instructors, to return as CLC leaders. With instructor supervision and guidance, the Cadre planned, organized, and executed the CLC training plan.

SC-942 has received this award eight times in the last twelve years CLC has been conducted.
