We are so proud all of our All-Star Readers at PES who participated in the All-Star Reading Program, which is an incentive based program designed to promote reading for students in grades K5-8th grade!
We are also proud to share our school was recognized as a Top Performing Reading School AND was recognized as a Hall of Fame School!
PES has been an active participant in the Reading All-Stars Program for over 6 years. To be recognized as a top performing school, the school must have at least 50% of the student body participate in the reading program. Furthermore, to be recognized as a Hall of Fame School, the school must have been a top performing school for at least 3 years.
Students who participated in the program received a free voucher to attend a Greenville Drive Game on either April 30 or May 21! All-Star Readers who attend one of the scheduled games have the opportunity to receive a free book and hat, participate in a parade around the field, and run the bases!
