Congratulations to David Middleton (Class of 2023) who is the recipient of this year's Chris Ferguson Outstanding Patriot Award! This award is given annually to a person who "routinely goes above and beyond in their role of helping students or serving the mission of the school." David is the epitome of this description as evidenced by his service as a Co-President of StuCo, including leading Spirit Week which raised over $20,000 for the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation; participation in sports such as Cross Country, Track, and Tennis; service on the School Improvement Council; photography for the yearbook; and academic achievements such as ending his school career with a 4.9 GPA. He did all this while also being voted "Friendliest" by his peers for this year's Senior Superlatives, which says even more about who he is as a person in addition to as a student. Congrats, David - well-deserved!
