Our Annual Miss Powdersville High and Class Beauties Pageant is THIS Saturday, beginning at 6:30 in the Auditorium. Tickets may be purchased in advance during lunch or Saturday night at the door. You can also look for photos that night on our socials (Instagram @powdersvillehs)


Anderson School District One will move to an e-Learning day on Tuesday, January 9th. Due to the wind gusts projected, it is unsafe for buses to operate on the roads.
As a reminder for parents, the following guidelines are in place to complete eLearning lessons:
Elementary School:
Assignments will be posted in Seesaw. Students have 5 school days to complete work.
Middle School:
Assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. Students have 5 school days to complete work.
High School
Assignments should be posted in Google Classroom. Students have 5 school days to complete work.
Teachers will be available during the following office hours: 9:00-10:30 and 1:30-3:00. During this time, teachers will be available to answer questions via Seesaw messenger or email.
There will be no after school events on Tuesday.

Beta Club, FCA, and Powdersville First Baptist Church joined forces to gather and pack school, clothes, hygiene, food, toys, and other supplies for backpacks being sent to children in Kentucky. Thanks to all who contributed and/or put these backpacks together - they’re called Backpack Blessings for a reason, as those who give and receive are blessed.

Winterguard auditions are next week! If you've never tried Colorguard before and are interested, this is a great opportunity to start.


So proud of our Marching Band and all they’ve accomplished under new director, Mr. Young, this year - their Chroma performance earned them Bronze/3rd in the State 3A yesterday!! If you were lucky enough to see it performed at one of our football games or a Saturday band competition, then you know how amazing they were. Congrats on an outstanding season, Patriots!
