Powdersville Boys Basketball are AAA Upper State Champions!! PVHS will play Darlington for the State title this Saturday, March 2, at 4:00pm at the Florence Center. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in the Commons during lunch Wed-Fri from Coach Mustar.
Congratulations to Evan Matocha (Senior), Cooper Cook (Junior), Lexi Heath (Sophomore), and Emi Brown (Freshman) who are our February recipients of the Patriot Way Award! (see last slide for characteristics) These students were nominated by teachers and each received an award sign, a $15 gift certificate to a restaurant, and this lovely shout-out via the socials. Boys Basketball took down Daniel last night 73-59!! Round 3 will be back at home on Wednesday - more deets TBA. Tonight, it’s the Girls’ turn as they take on Daniel at Daniel at 5:00 for Round 2. Go, Patriots!!
Mrs. Scott, Dr. Martin, and Ms. Lundgren took forty students to Charleston today to visit the International African American Museum! Charleston is so rich with black history, we know the students saw and learned things there they will never forget. Special shout-out to Mrs. Scott for organizing the trip.
