Thanks so much to all who came out last night for our red carpet event celebrating the release of this year’s literary magazine, The Ville, with its theme, “The Unknown.” Mrs. Foster, the Creative Writing and Ville teacher sponsor, along with her stellar staff and student contributors have created a beautiful issue highlighting student writing, art, and photography. Students published in this year’s edition were invited to read aloud their selection in front of staff, family, and friends. So proud of all these students! If you’re interested in purchasing your own copy, see Mrs. Foster (cost $25).

Congratulations Mr. Carter (mentor, Dr. Rosenberg), Ms. Tenry (mentor, Mrs. Sanders), Ms. Lundgren (mentor, Mrs. Foster), and Ms. Land (mentor, Ms. Scales) for your successful first year as part of our Patriot family.

Powdersville High School is excited to announce that our Swim Team will be led by Head Coach Meagan Blough and Assistant Coach Jeremy Wilder next season! We're excited to have alumni Meagan Blough back in a coaching capacity, and Coach Wilder continuing with his assistance as our swim program continues to grow. Welcome!
Quote from Head Coach - Coach Blough:
"I am Meagan Blough, a Powdersville High School graduate. I went to Limestone University on a cheer scholarship, graduating with a bachelor's degree in History/Pre Law. I have been coaching the YMCA swim team for a little more than four years. I am a substitute teacher, personal trainer, private swim lesson instructor, and a farm helper. In my free time, I am always outside hiking, at the gym, or spending time with family. I am looking forward to being back at Powdersville to coach this amazing team! I cannot wait to see the growth over this season and how far they will go!
Assistant Coach - Jeremy Wilder:
- Jeremy Wilder has been actively involved with the swim community for over ten years. He has assisted Powdersville High School's Swim Team and club swimming in both Virginia and South Carolina USA swimming teams. He has supported swimming from an administrative, growth, and logistics aspect. He enjoys being poolside and watching the student-athletes excel in confidence and sportsmanship.

At tonite’s Baseball game vs Seneca, the spotlight will be on our Seniors. Come out and support this great group of players!

Wrapping up a stellar season in the best way possible - way to go, TI team!!
