We proudly provide public school preschool to get children ready for school, work and life by providing full or half-day quality preschool experiences to children and their families. April 3 - 7 is National Assistant Principals Week. Anderson School District One is extremely proud of the job or we should say jobs that each assistant principal does. These professionals go above and beyond to support their individual schools as well as our district office. THANK YOU!!!


Anderson One Selects White to Lead Cedar Grove Elementary School
On Tuesday, March 28th, the Anderson One Board of Trustees voted to name Matt White the next Principal at Cedar Grove Elementary. White is currently the Instructional Assistant Principal at Cedar Grove Elementary where he has served for the past 8 years. White has 14 years of experience in education which includes serving as a classroom teacher and Assistant Principal.
White received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Furman University.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Cedar Grove Elementary School and continue our District’s tradition of excellence. Our school has a wonderful history and legacy in our community. I am excited to be a part of its future. ,” said White.
Anderson One Superintendent Robbie Binnicker said of White, “We are very excited to promote Mr. White to the principal position at Cedar Grove. He has been a part of the leadership team that has created a wonderful learning environment for students and the entire community. We look forward to great things to come.”
White and his wife Taylor, live in Anderson with their son Micah and daughter Amelia.
White will officially begin his new role on July 1, 2023.


Palmetto High School's Varsity Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. Jared Fricks, attended the South Carolina Choral Performance Assessment at Erskine College. They earned a rating of "Superior with distinction" for the first time in the history of choirs at Palmetto High. 'With distinction' is awarded to groups who receive superior on the entirety of performed repertoire, in addition to a superior sight-reading score.
