National School Nurse Day

Today is School Nurse Day and we want to say THANK YOU to all our school nurses. They go above and beyond to assist the students, faculty, and staff of Anderson School District One. Their job description can certainly include multi-tasker, lifesaver, health resource support, and offer a million other supportive services as well.. Whatever they are called on to do, they do it with a smile, grace, humor, and love for their calling.
Our nurses have been busy this year and have completed over 61,000 health visits! We have the BEST nurses who take care of our students. So today and always - thank you school nurses for being such a valuable component in our "Tradition of Excellence".
May 6 - 10 has been designated as Teacher Appreciation Week. Anderson School District One is proud of our amazing educational professionals. Our district consistently ranks very high in the state of South Carolina for the education provided to our students. This is due to the compassion, dedication, care, and encouragement these teachers offer to our ASD1 students.
